Who are Three OneThree?
ThreeOneThree is Lyn Diskon and Mark Butler - a dynamic duo with a high level of expertise in their respective fields. With over 40 years combined experience, ThreeOneThree offers complete management and co-ordination of event concepts & functions. Based in the magnificent Clarence Valley of northern NSW, ThreeOneThree will operate anywhere in Australia and some overseas areas, bringing their services to you.

Using their wide range of experience and networks and their strategy of on-going consultation with the client, ThreeOneThree have the resources and energies to deliver successful events every time.

Lyn Diskon
Over 20 years community development/community capacity building experience through community groups Local Government and private enterprise in four states. A proven track record as a team builder, motivator, and in developing, delivering and implementing innovative actions to address local needs. Demonstrated ability to research, develop, implement and evaluate strategic initiatives together with strong communication and liaison skills that have combined to have significant impact on local communities and in building local social capital. Extensive experience in successful submission development, along with well developed management and team skills and the ability to deal with a range of cultural and social groups including those from a Non-English speaking background, youth and disadvantaged groups. Have personal qualities of adaptability and versatility, a sense of humour and respect for the values of individuals and communities.

Mark Butler
Over 30 years involvement with companies and organisations in management and organisational roles with particular focus on the preparation and coordination of information dissemination.My professional experience has required frequent liaison with local, state & federal government planners to provide practical advice on the efficient and effective utilisation of local resources through the creation of “Local Industry Participation Plans” which involve collaboration and liaison between community, industry and all levels of government. This has led to the organisation and coordination of a number of trade shows, industry forums, seminars, and networking events.Along with my professional involvement in event planning & management, I have considerable interest and experience with community groups and events ranging from sporting carnivals and competitions to business forums and awards showcases and in particular the highly successful community-based Grafton Dragon Boat Races.Included in both professional and community roles has been the preparation of tenders, funding submissions and grant applications for programs and projects both commercial and community focused.

Clarence Community Events Inc is a small not-for-profit organisation that aims to support the community of the Clarence Valley in becoming the Events Capital of the North Coast by guiding and supporting local community groups to successfully and safely operate their activities. Clarence Community Events Inc.

has seen the opportunity to value-add to local events
aims to contribute to the Clarence Valley becoming known as the Events Capital of the North Coast
will conduct one or two events through a year with the long-term aim of training/encouraging others to become the event organiser so will act as an auspicing body for other groups wishing to obtain funding to conduct events in the community

One key event currently organised by CCE is the highly successful Grafton Dragon Boat Races Family Fun Day held in October as an opening activity of the world-famous Jacaranda Festival. CCE has also worked with the Ulmarra community and managed the 2007 Ulmarra Festival of the River. Members of CCE undertakethe organising of these events as a voluntary activity for our Communitywith net proceeds being contributed to local charities.
